WHO WE SERVE

Our Nation’s commandos and first responders have made the heroic decision to confront some of the most challenging and traumatic situations this world has to offer. Sadly, some of these individuals end up turning to drugs and/or alcohol in order to cope with the unique consequences that accompany this honorable life of service.

THE RAW EPIDEMIC

Constant exposure to trauma, life-threatening situations, and the physical strain of working long hours on little to no sleep can negatively impact overall mental health, increasing the vulnerability and risk of substance abuse and addiction among commandos and first responders. Further, various stigmas like self-stigma, anticipated stigma, and public stigma plays a significant factor as to why these elite individuals don’t seek help. Just like it takes a team to neutralize a terrorist cell, secure a target, or eliminate a life-compromising fire, it takes a team to wage war on addiction and neutralize these stigmas. TTP is here to have the individual’s back and create the dominance needed to fight this war.

TESTIMONIALS

Tribe Task and Purpose really has employed an innovative approach to addiction. Defeating addiction through sheer will alone is near impossible. TTP’s methodology makes one feel good while sober. A lot of addiction begins with masking pain both physically and emotionally. TTP Addresses a lot of the physical pain by restoring homeostasis within the body. When TTP has their coaching and counseling staff on board it will address mental aspects of addiction. I would prefer a facility that allows for treatment away from the city. Going home at night may be quite challenging for heavily addicted people. TTP’s plan to build a sustainable ecosystem where patients learn to be a productive member of that ecosystem, is a revolutionary idea. It will create new reward system pathways for the brain and I can’t wait to see all the people TTP will help recover.

Having gone through the struggles most associated with Team guys, I know what works and what doesn't. TTP helps guys get through the most difficult times of their lives. I wish the pilot program was longer and I look forward to seeing the offsite location in Shenandoah.
